🧑🚀Among Us
Social-deduction classic. Someone here is a liar.
Up to fifteen crewmates do tasks; one or more imposters murder them. Lives or dies on the post-round voice-chat argument. Still works after all these years.

Quickstart
How to actually play this with friends — written by Claude.## Set it up - Cheap buy, quick install; host picks the map (Skeld, MIRA HQ, Polus, Airship) and shares the lobby code, everyone else just joins - Before your first real game, crank the settings: fewer emergency meetings, a shorter kill cooldown, and visual tasks on so nobody can fake "I did wires" - Put the whole group on one voice call with a hard rule — no talking outside meetings, ever, or the social-deduction part just evaporates
## Your first session - Run one warm-up round tasks-only, no killing, so everyone learns the map layout and vent locations before anything's on the line - Then go live: impostors should split up and isolate stragglers, crew should travel in pairs and remember exactly who they were standing next to - At the first meeting, actually share alibis out loud — "I was with Sam by wires" wins more rounds than a vague finger-point
## Group size advice - Shines hardest at 7-10 players; under 6 impostors get caught almost instantly, over 10 meetings devolve into shouting matches nobody can parse - 4-5 players still works for a fast round, but expect impostors to win most of them - The rare game that actually holds up on a 12-person Discord call
