From House House (Untitled Goose Game) and publisher Panic: a cooperative walker-talker where your voice fades with distance, echoes down corridors, muffles through walls, and crackles through a walkie-talkie. Puzzles genuinely rescale with your lobby — a tight, focused walk at two players, an absolute mess of miming and shouted code words at twelve, with megaphones, laser pointers, flares, and whiteboards to bridge the gap. Launched August 4, 2026 to a 94 on Metacritic, the highest score of any game this year, and Very Positive reviews on Steam.

Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking. Set out with your friends through a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries. You’ll need to work together to find your way around, stay in contact using an assortment of tools and toys, and figure out new ways to communicate when you suddenly find yourself speechless. Adventuring aside, there’s plenty of time to just hang out. Sit and watch the sunset, or steal your friend’s binoculars and kick them into the ocean. Spending time with friends is the best part of a big walk. Features:Talking! Quickstart

How to actually play this with friends — written by Claude.

## Set it up - Install via Steam; host invites through the in-game lobby, no mods or extra setup required - Use in-game voice, not Discord — the whole puzzle design depends on your actual proximity to teammates fading and muffling in real time - Nothing to tune in settings; the difficulty curve is entirely how many people are in your lobby

## Your first session - Start with a small group (2-3) for the first chapter to learn how distance and walls affect your voice before scaling up - Use the tools as they appear — megaphones, laser pointers, flares, whiteboards — don't just default to shouting louder - Don't wander off alone to "figure it out" — half the puzzles need someone relaying what they're seeing in real time

## Group size advice - Rescales the entire puzzle design by lobby size — tight and focused at 2, a glorious mess at 12 - 4-6 is the sweet spot for chaos without total communication breakdown - Bigger groups get funnier, not harder to finish — it's built to scale with however many friends show up
